Sandra Bühler is a Designer, Filmmaker and New Media Artist.

Born in Switzerland she studies the correctness of points, lines and forms in a Swiss Graphic Atelier. Right in time - Swiss Style - she moves to Berlin to throw herself in its chaos. Studying "Visual Communication" and "New Media Art/Experimental Film" at the University of the Arts Berlin (UdK) with Heinz Emigholz and Michael Busch, she turns towards moving images and audio visual performances.

2009 with a scholarship from the Musashino Art University in Tokyo she studies the logics of signs and images on the other side of the world. 2011 she receives a scholarship for the Masterprogramm «Film/Video/Media art» at the California Institute of the Arts (Calarts, USA) and focuses on documentary filmmaking and Experimental animation with James Beninng, Betzy Bromberg, Charlotte Pryce and Eric Dyer.

In her works she investigates the complexity and dynamics of space and human beings, researches narrative systems and nonlinear storytelling.

She worked for Partizan Berlin www.partizan.com and currently teamed up with Lucky Film GmbH.
